The Days of Christmas
On Thursday (Dec. 17th), we celebrated Christmas around the world. We “visited” Italy in Mrs. Fogle’s room, Mexico in Mrs. Sedillo’s room and Russia was in our room. We learned a little bit about how Christmas is celebrated in different countries. Sorry I don’t have any pictures…
That same afternoon we had our Birthday party for Jesus. Just look at all the gifts you all brought to donate to the Hope House! They were very grateful for everything!
Of course we had cake too! We also re-enacted the Nativity story, sang and played games.
The next day was our Christmas Mass and pageant. What a great looking bunch of kindergarteners!
Crown Dancers visit
Crown Dancers from the school in Cibecue visited us today. They ranged in age from Kindergarteners to 5th graders.

Thanksgiving Feast
I hope you all had a wonderful and tasty Thanksgiving! Our feast here at school was fantastic!

There’s a monster under my bed…?
This week we read Junie B. Jones Has a Monster Under Her Bed. Ask you child about the story and they will explain the pictures below!

The Rest of October…
Sorry there have been no updates lately, but I’ll try to catch it all up now!
We managed to celebrate Shayla’s Birthday! She was sick on her birthday, so we had to celebrate a little late.

Doesn't she look great in the birthday hat?
Firefighters from the Show Low Fire Department came to school on Oct. 29th to teach us about fire safety. We watched a movie, learned how to escape from a smokey room in the smoke trailer, and saw the firetruck. The kids got to walk through the fire truck!

Stop, Drop and Roll!

And today we celebrated Halloween! We started the day with a Halloween parade, had a classroom party, and finished with Mass. All the kids looked great in their costumes!

(By the way, I usually try to dress up as some sort of pun… this year I’m a devilled egg…, Mr. Harder was ready for a weekend of fishing!)
